Social Responsibility
As a company that sells, installs and programs sophisticated electronic systems, we are constantly replacing used or broken electronics to simplify our clients' lives.
We have realized the need for electronics recycling within our own business - and have worked with the local community to do the same thing....
On April 17, 2010, we held an Electronics Recycling Drive at Kirkwood High School and it was an overwhelming success, surpassing last year's numbers by far. We helped to:
- Collect 225 TONS of electronics, appliances, etc. - that's 450,000 lbs!
- Fill 16 tractor trailers full of unwanted items
- Process 1,737 cars in just 7 hours.
The best part - we saw more console TVs on that Saturday than we have since the 80's!
We had a great time and sincerely appreciate all of the help from our sponsors, volunteers, and friends. We could not have done it without you!

- Spotlight on our recycling partner -
WITS - or Web Innovations and Technology Services - focuses on more than just recycling electronics... While we commend them for their 0% landfill policy, what truly draws us to WITS is their focus on the community. As the largest non-profit recycler in Missouri, WITS takes in TONS of electronics a year - and refurbishes goods that can be reused by underserved populations and other non-profit organizations. What cannot be reused is appropriately recycled by methods approved by the Department of Natural Resources and the Environmental Protection Agency. Each year:
- 2,000 - 3,000 computers and laptops are donated to churches, veterans, disabled individuals, youth and needy families
- Over 6.5 million pounds of electronics are diverted from landfills - 70% of which is reused!
- WITS hires men and women who have difficulty getting 'traditional' jobs
WITS provides a great service to the people of St. Louis - and to Mother Earth! Thank you for your efforts!
